In early May 2017, Superior Trees planted over 241 trees. Species include: 100 White Pine, 100 Cedar, 20 Jack Pine, 10 Birch, 4 Apple, American Chestnut and Fig. Five blue spruce were transplanted within the property. We planted about 40 apple seed. Five blueberry, 10 raspberry, pumpkin, and asparagus were also planted in our small garden area. We also conducted two small burns on the hay field.
We've signed paperwork with USDA and NRCS and are officially "beginning", "socially disadvantaged" small farmers.
We plan for another 100 white pine in our summer visit and are making plans for the excavation of a small pond. We have some cherry trees in the cloning process and are planning to transplant some maple.
